We all like taking notes or saving things that we find Online. The EverNote program allows you to quickly create, organize and find any type of notes on an endless, digital roll of paper. What if you are in Firefox and you find something you want to copy for later? Well the people behind the program have released a Firefox extension that should help link those two ideas together.
Here is what the folks at EverNote have to say about the extension.
EverNote Web Clipper provides a toolbar button and context menus to easily add a selection or an entire page to the EverNote Application as a new note.
After installing the extension - right click on the toolbar and select ‘Customize’. Grab the EverNote icon anywhere on the toolbar.
EverNote is a free note-taking application for Windows 2000/XP.
EverNote 1.1 lets you easily store and quickly access typed and handwritten memos, webpage excerpts, emails, phone messages, addresses, passwords, brainstorms, sketches, documents and more.
There is both a free and paid version of the program as well. So if you like the program, there is no reason why you shouldn’t pick up the Firefox extension that goes along with it.
This Firefox extension is for versions 1.5 and up of the browser. If you want to download it and try it out for yourself, you can do so at the Mozilla Update Web site.
