Sometimes you need to just send a quick E-mail to a friend. Most of the time I like to send Web sites to my closest buds, so they can check out what it is I have found. With the Send Page By E-mail Firefox extension, my job was just made a little easier.

This firefox extension, as its name says, is initially designed to support “send page by email” function, a missing yet important element of firefox compared to its counterpart Internet Explorer.

With this extension, you can send the webpage you are currently browsing directly by email to anyone you want. You can backup your interested webpages in your own email box for further reference.

Moreover, you can send any selected text on the webpage and even your own words by email. You can also send attachments with an email. From this point of view, this extension is an embedded email sending interface for firefox.

Another nice feature you could use this for is to “bookmark” Web sites you want to remember. Just send yourself the Web page via E-mail. I’ve done that before when I have found things I want to read later, because now isn’t always the right time.
