PermaTabs

The problem is that you need to have one or two Web sites open in Firefox all of the time. There just isn’t a way of getting this done by default. What is the solution? You need to download and install the PermaTabs Firefox extension. It allows you to turn any tab of your choosing into a “permanent” tab that can not be closed.

Here is what the author of PermaTabs has to say about it.

Adds the ability to turn tabs of your choice into permanent tabs (”permaTabs”) that can’t be closed, and stick around between sessions.

Useful for keeping URLs you use often, always one tab away. Also, useful for picking up articles where you left off, between sessions.

Just for fun, installs three random “permatabs” (from a built in list) on installation. So maybe you’ll find a useful site you never even knew about.

After you install the PermaTabs extension, some of the random permatabs installed contain affiliate urls. You can of course remove the default permatabs, and create your own. These are there to show you an example of what the PeramaTabs look like, right off the bat.

This Firefox extension is for versions 1.0 and up of the browser. If you want to download it and try it out for yourself, you can do so at the Mozilla Update Web site.
