Everybody seems to be worried about cookies these days. Not the ones your grandmother makes, the ones that keep data about what you are doing on your browser. So how can you keep a better track of what these cookies are doing? Give CookieSafe a shot. CookieSafe gives control of your cookies back over to you.

This extensions couldn’t be easier to use. Here is how the author of the extensions describes how to use it.

This extension will allow you to easily control cookie permissions. It will appear on your statusbar. Just click on the icon to allow, block, or temporarily allow the site to set cookies.

You can also view or clear the cookies and exceptions by right clicking on the statusbar icon. For safer browsing you may choose to deny cookies globally and then enable them on a per site basis.

The one thing this extensions will not make you do is toss your cookies. It gives you back the control of your browsing experience. Check out some of the screenshots to get a preview of what it can do.

This Firefox extension is for versions 1.5 and up of the browser. If you want to download it and try it out for yourself, you can do so at the Mozilla Update Web site.
