Why doesn’t Firefox have a print preview button? You would think that one would be a given. If this has been bugging you as much as it has been bugging me, give this extension a shot. The Print/Print Preview extension gives you back that print preview button you miss.

Here is what the developer has to say about the extension.

Replace the default “Print” button with the Mozilla Suite style “Print/Print Preview” toolbar button/menu.

If you already have the “Print” button in your toolbar, the change will take place automatically. If not, use View > Toolbars > Customize… to add the button. It will look the same as before in the customization dialog, but once added to the toolbar you will see the additional arrow for the drop down menu.

This is another handy “why didn’t they do that” extension to add to Firefox. Give it a shot and let me know what you think about it.

This Firefox extension is for versions 1.4 and up of the browser. If you want to download it and try it out for yourself, you can do so at the Mozilla Update Web site.
