So, if you followed my recent tip about learning about Web Feeds, you’re probably almost ready to make your own feed.

Before you do that though (which we’ll cover in a tip coming up shortly), you need to know that it’s hard to realize what’s working with a marketing test if you don’t track it.

“But Tinu, how the hell do I track a freaking feed?”

I’m glad you asked… though the language? Not necessary.

(Sorry. Many people live in my head. That was the Empress. Long story.)

FeedBurner, that’s how. If you already have a feed, get ye over to FeedBurner. Enter your feed to begin, and you’ll see that it will track yon feed for ya.

That’s not all though.

It’ll also:

• Translate it to any other format.

• Tell you what your readers are clicking through to, and what they’re just skimming in their reader
• Give a browser - friendly version of your feed to your visitors, so if they click on it by mistake and have no clue just what the hell that bad boy is, they get a clue from reading the page.
• WAP your feed - folks who have the proper mobile technology can read your feed from their phone.

It does much more but I don’t want to spoil your fun.
