IE View Lite

Now if you have read any of my Firefox tips and tricks I have been posting the last few months, you have probably seen me talk about IE View before. IE View allows for you to easily open up any Web page from Firefox into Internet Explorer. So what does IE View Lite do?
That is the question, and hopefully the developer of the extension has an answer for us.
This is a cut down version of IE View by Paul Roub, which is 47.4 KB. All the same UI and features are there. It has a right click menu item to open a page in IE and a list of sites to always open in IE.
Everything’s just been rebuilt from the ground up to be smaller and more efficient. Plus, it has the ability to pass extra parameters to the executable (very helpful for use with WINE), which is not included in regular IE View.
So as you can see there, it is the same extension. It has just been rewritten to work better. I wonder if this will become a trend? I like the idea of other people making good things even better. So give it a shot, and let me know which one you like best.
This Firefox extension is for versions 1.5 and up of the browser. If you want to download it and try it out for yourself, you can do so at the Mozilla Update Web site.
