What is this Firefox extension all about? Here is what the developer of the extension has to say about it:

Adds right-click context menu items for shrinking links with ShrinkThisLink.com - pops up resulting shrunk link in a new window, to leave you on the site you’re browsing.

Adds context menu items for text input box selections and URL/address bar, in addition to existing context menu items.

It couldn’t get much easier. All you have to do is right click on a link, and choose “Shrink This Link”. After that, a window will pop up with the new shorter URL for that Web address.

This Firefox extension is for versions .9 to 1.5 of the browser. If you are interested in giving it a shot and trying it out, you can download it at the Mozilla Update Web site.
