duimShow

Are you one of those people who has thirty framed photos on your desk of your family and friends? Well, then you might get a kick out of duimShow. It is a photo slide show extension that brings viewing random photos right to your browser.

So what is this Firefox extension all about? Here is what the developer has to say about it:

This extension shows your favorite pictures as a slide show in the right corner of Firefox, so you never get bored when you’re waiting for a page to load.

After you install it, you can set the files and folders you want it to display while you are browsing. You can also set how quickly it changes to a new picture as well.

Now what is the only thing that would make this extension even better? I’d really like to see it bring photos in from Flickr RSS feeds. Hopefully we might see something like that in the future.

This Firefox extension is for versions 1.5 and up of the browser. If you want to download it and try it out for yourself, you can do so at the Mozilla Update Web site.
