Google offers DIY web design

Since half of the day’s stories are about Google’s new design suite for Webbers, I cannot avoid it: Google’s new Web design tools have thus far, been met with mixed reviews. While it is amazingly simple to use, I do question its overall value.

Freelance business owners are trying their hand at a new online tool that lets them create and publish web pages without the normal expense of website design.

Launched by search site Google, the free facility empowers freelancers to make and edit web pages exactly as they appear online, without the need for HTML or complex software.

The free software is currently in testing mode or ‘beta,’ meaning it will be adapted and improved to suit users’ needs as and when they send suggestions to Google. Source: Freelance UK
