I have been doing a lot of research on web standards lately and wanted to put together something that would outline why they are so important. Although web standards are slowly becoming more popular among developers, most are still too lazy to sit up and take notice. If you don’t already know, Web Standards are what you might expect – Modern standards to which all web sites should comply to aid web development in terms of new technologies and thus make surfing the web a much more pleasurable, hassle free experience.
