One great way people use HelpShare is as a “micro-consulting” resource where small projects can be outsourced, especially code and application development.
For example, user bigdaddy recently posted a question wanting code developed for the new Google 4.0 toolbar. His question Buttons for new Google Toolbar was actually asking for work product vs. just an answer.
bigdaddy spent less than five minutes posting/rewarding the question and user. joepestro had the work done in 31 minutes, posted the answer to a file share, and was rewarded $40 for his efforts. That’s efficient code development!
In the past, we have seen other developers post two or three questions before they went to sleep and have the work done when they woke up. Give that a try when you are under a tight deadline!
