Web surfing costing businesses nearly $200 billion?

I’ve seen evidence of this on a grand scale over the years. It is certainly frustrating for employers looking to give their employees some level of control. But as we are quickly learning, sometimes this can prove to be a real mistake.

(NASDAQ: WBSN), the world’s leading provider of employee internet management solutions, today announced that internet misuse in the workplace costs American corporations more than $178 billion annually in lost productivity. This translates into a loss of more than $5,000 per employee per year.
