The more traditional conservative view of the future of news is that the news will continue to be what it has always been: a non-participatory lecture.
But could it be different? Could the news of the future be participatory, independent, and community based? Is it possible that everyone could become a citizen journalist, writing honestly about the world around them?
Perhaps, but the difficulty is seeing this revolution coming, especially when you are too connected and dependent on the very media and models that are being taken apart from down under.
