Despite some of the recent problems relating to RSS I have been reporting about, such as the use of ads into news feeds and possible future security issues, RSS remains an impressive technology for which new tools to exploit its full potential are announced on a daily basis.
Right now, those of want to play RSS newsmasters by splicing and mixing “future searches” with uniquely filtered sources need to manually pre-select, edit, filter and aggregate content, often by using multiple tools.
A new breed of so-called RSS newsmastering engines or syndication servers is just about to surface while providing the extra mile that RSS aggregators and mixers have been missing so far.
With new RSS content syndication engines, the newsmaster potential may start to surface while turning RSS into an impressive query-based content data-bank.
