It’s funny. When I think of a bubbler, a site-building platform is the last thing that comes to mind. However, this is the name of one such platform set to offer some unique options to interested parties.

I’ve written before about Bubbler, a blogging and site-building platform with unique features. Bubbler has launched its out-of-beta version 1.0, and it seems to be emphasizing robust site-building features more than pure blogging. However, creating “notes” (which are essentially blog entries) is still supported. So is drag-and-drop audio, video, and photos. Bubbler pages contain embedded audio playback controls. File-sharing and in-site instant messaging position Bubbler as a business tool. That’s the only arena that could possibly justify Bubbler’s hosting prices—yikes. [Read the rest]
