CNET tries to take down Engadget

CNET is likely going to find this move against Engadget to be a foolish one in my opinion. They are wrong if they think that any of us really care about what they consider to be ethical. The accusations being made by Mizz Molly are not correct and offering a wide blanket of half truths and wide-berth assumptions as far as I am concerned. I am in Engadget’s corner 110%.

An Open letter to Molly Wood from CNET who claims that Engadget and other blogs have no ethics.

Molly,

We follow the same exact ethical standards as the WSJ, NYT, PBS, and NPR. We do not keep review units and we don’t get paid to blog about products. The fact that you’re insinuating we do is absolutely false.

Had you taken the time, as a “journalist,” to call me or do two minutes of research you would have found this out. [Read the rest]
