Active WebCam

For the most part, it sounds like any typical Webcam software thats you might find from a popular download site. Still, we must be open minded here, right? Ya, anyway Active WebCam offers the standard FTP upload, streaming, etc. One feature of note I suppose would be the multiple camera cycles. This does add a little ’something’ to the mix I suppose.

Active WebCam broadcast webcam images from your computer or through any FTP server. It can serve video with up to 20 frames per second, allowing visitors to view a live video stream. In addition, it can be used as a surveillance system. When the program detects motion in the monitored area, it can sound an alarm, e-mail you the captured images, start broadcasting or record a video. Additional features include text captions, date/time stamps, video recording, built-in scheduler and more. Active WebCam features an easy to use step-by-step wizard that will get your live web cam stream up and running in minutes. The program can use Video for Windows or DirectShow and supports multiple cameras (cycle).
