BlackMoon FTP Server

To be very honest, I am really selective when it comes to the FTP clients that I use. As for FTP servers, not so much. Why? Well it’s not because I am careless. No, actually I just have never really had the desire to use one outside of a server I am using off site.

But if you are looking for a good FTP server to evaluate, you might want to add this puppy to your list. It is certainly worth checking out.

BlackMoon is a native Windows 2000/XP and above FTP server with features such as remote administration, services, virtual directories, user accounts, file resuming and passive mode transfers. It supports multi-homed sites and multi-port listening, auto date and time activation, NT user accounts and NT Authentication, bandwidth caps, all the basic ftp commands and much more. The server has a user friendly interface with nicely formatted statistics and status information. Low memory and CPU usage.
