CMS Help for Web Developers - ContentSeed

I stumbled across this person’s product completely by accident. Serendipity is the norm for many a web find! I can’t recall ever having come across a CMS add-in that was usable for FrontPage. That’s one of the reasons I’m posting this. The other is that there’s also a “vanilla” version that is not editor-specific.

It’s also a lot about the attitude I found on the software’s Web site. Let’s lay it out- there are paid and free versions of the product, named ContentSeed. The only difference is that the free version will place a ‘Powered by ContentSeed’ sticker/link on each page of content. Period. But what elevates this software over other free stuff is that free or paid, full support is offered by any of a number of means, including toll-free phone call(!).

There are a few requirements to use the program (such as having PHP and best usage gained from a Windows host), but they’re clearly laid out on the Web site.

Here are the links -

‘Vanilla’ version - http://contentseed.com/vanilla.asp

I’ve got my copy, so I feel free to say ‘Get going and get yours!’.

What Do You Think?
