Companies might not put emphasis on designing with Section 508 or WAI in mind. They believe that the number of disabled people is not worth it. The number might be higher than they think. It’s 52 million Americans alone. In fact, moi falls in that category and I love to shop online. Except when husband is out of a job, we’re middle class folk.
Erase any ideas the disabled are a tiny population and have no spending money. Just like any Joe Blow, they fall in all class brackets (upper, middle, and lower). Meet Judy Dent.
