The Arts Project Contest

WHAT: A contest to create a 2-minute moving image that explains to the public some of the tensions between art and intellectual property law, and the intellectual property issues artists face, focusing particularly on either documentary film or music. See site for background, view short clips that encapsulate core themes in this area and other materials.

WHEN: Deadline for entries is November 1, 2004.

WHAT COULD I WIN? Prizes include:

• First Prize: First Prize Winner may choose either an Apple Power Mac G5 Computer or an Alienware Roswell 4100 Performance Digital Video Editing System Single Processor - AMD Opteron 242 64-Bit 1GB DDR PC-3200.
• Second Prize: Sony Handycam Camcorder (Model DCR-PC120BT).
