Non-Responsive Software Company

  • No Related Post

Have you ever bought software from a company and later found them completely non-responsive? Over the last couple of months I have been doing just that. About 12-18 months ago, I bought a piece of software from Wensoftware. It is called Book Library. The program is very good at what it does. I have hundreds of books and have spent many days putting them in this software. I have been very happy with the purchase since I bought the software.

About two months ago, the profile on my computer got corrupted. That corruption cost me the registration key to my software. It has since reverted back to the trial version. The trial version only allows 50 items to be input even though I have close to 500. I began writing to the author when I lost my key asking for a key for my legally purchased software. No matter how nice I was, I never received a response.

I wrote to the author for the third time on Tuesday letting him know of my plight again. I also told him I write for this newsletter and if I did not hear from him in 24 hours, I would write about my journey. I have instead waited well over 48 hours and of course, I have not heard anything. I think two months is more than reasonable to try and work this out.

Have you ever had any experiences like this? If so, please let me know. If you have had similar experiences especially with this company please let me know. I think these non-responsive companies need to be held accountable. I have gone from highly recommending this company to warning people to stay away. Do you have any companies you would recommend that sell this type of software? I would love to hear from you. Next time, we will get back to the web. Until then, take care, everyone.

hi, I have the same problem from this company too. I used their software and realized they did not change their pointer to the Amazon website. Hence, I could not download information from Amazon.com. I emailed them and posted on their forum. But they did not respond. Did you manage to get any compensation from them?

Cheers,
Christian
