Keith from TechChatter was blown away as to how Chris Pirillo was able to achieve the font effect that he has on his Weblog. As he studied it further, Keith figured out that he could do the same effect by using embedded fonts.

At first I wondered if it were somehow done with images. But it seems there is a technology added to web browsers, since about v4, that I missed. There is a way to embed fonts on a page. Embed in this case means that you can put some extra commands in the HTML to ask a user’s browser to download a font used on a page.”
