As many of you know, I have my Web site up. If you want to see it, please go here. Also, many of you know I am interested in learning CSS. What you may not know is, many of you are also interested in learning CSS. Thanks to Monica, she gave me a LOT of links regarding CSS. She also gave me some recommendations for books. As I said to Monica, “you are awesome.”
If you are interested in the links Monica sent, please click here. I have had a LOT of feedback from you. That is where this next topic comes in. I’ve had a good amount of feedback and advice from some of you regarding my article, State of the Tech Union. Most of the advice has been to get out and not get into tech. I think it is a rather pessimistic view. What am I asking here you ask? I can’t say it enough, you ask great questions always!
The question is, will those of you who are optimistic about the tech field write to me? If you have some positive experiences you would like to share, please do so. Tell us what it is that has made you successful. Tell us why you are so optimistic. Let me tell you why I am optimistic.
I am optimistic about the future of tech because everything runs in cycles. The economy is like a roller coast. We had the Internet bubble and bust. The roller coaster went up and down. Guess what the next cycle is? If you said up, take your right hand, stick it out in front of you as far as can, wrap it around to your left shoulder and pat yourself on the back. You are so smart! Things are improving. The tech field keeps you ever learning and trying to stay ahead of the crowd. I like learning and improving.
These are my reasons. I now await your feedback. I await your stories. I’d like permission to publish your success stories. Let me know why you are pumped. Tell me what you do and where you go from here. As always, I stand ready to hear what you say. I look forward to hearing from you.
