More common than you might think, “Local Machine Zone Lockdown” is not really the best approach sometimes. An article by MSDN looks at some factors that you need to be aware of if you decide that you are wanting to take this route.
One point of interest however, you will not likely be affected if, “your sites run in the Internet or Local Intranet zones”. Well that is good news, right? One less problem to deal with in this area. ;o)
