Cloaking and Forwarding Domains

So you’ve just bought your brand new, personalized domain name and you want to put it to work, right? But maybe you’re just not ready to drop the cash you’ll need for hosting. If that’s the case, you are still in luck!

If you’ve already obtained space on the Web from your ISP or a blogging service, then you can use URL forwarding or URL cloaking in order to shorten your site’s address and “brand” your pages. Most domain registrars will offer these services, sometimes even for free.
