Yahoo! News has announced that Emic Networks will be issuing an update to their MySQL database and Apache server clustering middleware. Once the update has been released, it will bring Java-based servers into their neck of the woods. The Emic Application Cluster 2.5 will be supporting the JBoss application server. Once this has been set up, this will allow customers to cluster their Java-based servers.
