The highly scalable SQL Server 2000 Driver for JDBC is a driver that allows for a solid state of connectivity for the enterprise Java environment. Some of the new advancements with this new driver include: making hostname a connection attribute, improved performance, and support for the 64-bit edition of SQL Server 2000 and a multiple instance environment using just the instance name. Not too shabby.
