Zemanta blogging plugin

Nikon D300 digital SLR camera.Image via WikipediaI am trying out a new Firefox plugin that was recommended by Christopher S. Penn, Zemanta. Zemanta will look at what you are typing in your blog post and after you write 300 characters it will start making suggestions for links to related articles, tags to use and related images to use in your blog post.

So let’s say I was writing a blog post about some new Nikon equipment that had just been released like a Nikon D300.  It would look at the text I had typed in my blog post and make suggestions to articles on D300’s or images taken by D300 or of D300’s.  This is great!  It will make for much more interesting blog posts.  I just went past 600 characters and now on the right hand side of my blog post in Word Press I see 9 images.  4 are images taken by a D300, 3 are images of a D300 or it’s components, 1 is a Firefox logo and 1 is a Nikon logo.  The other really cool thing is that as you hover over the image it tells you what the license  of the image.  I’ll post a few of the items suggested now.  How cool is this.
