About Vic
You can join me here on the old porch and we can sip a cup o’ country, while watching the sun go down. It’ll be fun…. (Someone asked me the other day: “And what exactly is a Cup o’ Country? That’s some kind of tea, isn’t it…?”) Seriously folks–if you don’t know what a Cup o’ Country is, just stick around.
I’m Country to the core. Kind of like that ol’ song: “I was Country-when-Country-wasn’t-Cooool“.
But I digress. I’m supposed to be telling you the facts…..Just the facts.
I was born in Wisconsin… but soon traveled far and wide. In the past 46 years, I’ve traveled to 47 states… but I’ve seen 48 states. Are you confused, yet?
Great.
What I mean to say is that even though I’ve never been to the final of the 48th state, Vermont, I have seen the hills of Vermont from a distance. I’ve been in all the other continental States, and have settled down to live in the Barada Hills where generations of my ancestors have lived and died…Not far from the Missouri River, where the hills are green and rolling. God’s Country, you might say.
Ah me.
I’ve done enough prattling about myself. And now I’ve got some rockin’ to do on the porch with my Cup o’ Country… Thanks for stopping by for a visit. Catch you on the flip-side, folks.
Whatever that means.
Thank you, everyone, for your wonderful comments.
If I don’t respond individually to your messages, don’t feel badly. I may be out adventuring somewhere so we can have more stories to share. Just know that I appreciate each person who takes time to read my articles, and especially those who leave comments. Without you, my readers, I wouldn’t have a reason to write….
But I’d still write, of course. I can’t help myself…..
(Oh yes…. And a special thanks to my daughter, Karissa, who made this website possible. Without her, you wouldn’t be reading anything… and if you don’t believe that—just read the article called: “Those Pesky Keys to Success…” On second thought, DON’T read that article. It’s just Toooo embarrassing. )
