Hello world!

Ah me!

This is definitely scary.  Here I am on some kind of geek site that I don’t know anything about.  I’m not even sure what a Geek is…

It’s my daughter’s fault that I’m here.   Karissa just won’t let her countrified Mama stay countrified.

But I am grateful to her, of course.  Without her, I’d still be scribbling on a notepad in the hayloft somewhere.

The only person I know who’s more out-of-touch with modern technology than me, is my  mother.  She knows next to nothing about computers, other than the fact that they are touchy devices that crash without an impact even occurring.

I’ve been trying to pass on to her my newly acquired knowledge and it leaves my mother rather mystified.

The other day we were discussing this new and novel idea of blogging .

“Now,” Mama said staring at the computer screen thoughtfully, ”Is there a difference between a website and a blob ?”

Oh dear.  Oh dear.

No, Mama. There’s not a whole lot of difference…except the blob is the one sitting in front of the computer, I’m afraid.

Well, now.  If you’ll excuse me, folks.  I’d better get back to my blobbing, (or blabbing I should say…)

Come to think of it… that’s exactly what I’ve been doing.
