Free iPhone Exploit Made Public

Ever since the iPhone was bricked by Apple during update 1.1.1, hackers have all been trying to unlock it. Recently, the iPhone Dev Team has released a free unlocking software (Which you can get here). The iPhone Dev Team has said that it works on versions 1.1.1 and 1.0.2, but the iPhone must be a ‘virgin’ which means that it doesn’t have AnySim on it already. They are working on a ‘re-virginizer’, so those people who have bricked iPhones, they are going to have to wait.
Now keep in mind that these ‘unlocked’ iPhones aren’t going to be that was forever. Apple is likely to ‘plug’ up all the vunerabilities. But don’t fret, hacker HD Moore has been working on an exploit which will make it possible for attackers to exploit flaws later on; even if Apple fixes them.
Don’t forget. If you’re going to unlock your iPhone; do it at your own risk. Sure, there will always be people out their working on unlocking the iPhone, but those things will take a lot of time to work out. The question you should be asking is “Are you willing to wait?”
