I’ve had my macbook for a couple weeks now and I think its safe to say I love it.  I like the simplicity of macs, the clean look of the desktop, and the ease of not having to worry about viruses all the time.  What I also like is the Ilife applications.  For example, today My brother needed a picture resized to fit his passport, they couldn’t figure out how to do it on the windows computer, so they sent it to me to do on photoshop.  For some reason I couldn’t get Photoshop to resize it, too damn complicated.  So I thought what the hell i’ll try Iphoto.  I boot it up drag and drop the photo into the program, and i crop it, simple as pie.  I then was able to print it with about 6, 2×2, pictures on a page.  I was amazed at how simple it was.  Then my brother asked me if i could clear the picture up and take what looked like scratch marks off of it.  I set off again trying to fix his picture, but instead of booting up photoshop I went for Iphoto right away.  I was able to make the picture look perfect, I removed the scratches and brightened it up a little. I also love the portability of this little guy.  Its light, size is perfect, and it is really powerful, I was running Word 08, photoshop, iphoto, itunes, and safari.  All these applications spread out onto two desktops, and i had around 600 mb of ram left inactive.  This amazed me, it would have been less if I didn’t have Word and Photoshop open, both are RAM hogs. This is why I love my macbook.
