I recently got a black macbook, for college next year. After working with windows based computers my whole life i finally decided to venture out and purchase a mac. I went to an apple store in Minneapolis Minnesota to purchase my macbook. The apple store was amazing, i felt like a little kid in a candy shop. I played with the macbook air, checked out the ipod touch, and just sat there in shock and awe. After regaining a mental state of being i took my macbook home to play with. I opened the box delicately and opened the every piece in side of the box before i got the finale. I opened the lovely piece of hardware and started to fidle with it. This thing amazed me on start up, a brilliant high quality video comes up when you first start up. You then go through all the normal new computer configurations. What i think amazed me most was how quickly it found my windows based network, and it asked me if i wanted to transfer files from the windows computer to the mac! After a while i got my new laptop just the way i wanted, it took my about 15 minutes to transfer twenty gigs of music from a external HD. This macbook has amazed me in multiple ways, its an all around great computer. I’ve been able to do everything on here that i could do on my windows desktop, whether its playing a game, to making a word document, and even playing around in photoshop. Overall i give this computer a 10 out of 10. Its also light weight and very portable.My specs:
