I have recently been using an online application called “blist” located at blist.com. According to the site, blist is “the best choice for creating and sharing lists on the web”. This product is basically an online database builder and manager.
I have been using blist to manage my business contacts, work orders, invoices, project time and collections. One of the options of blist is the ability to upload file and use the file itself as data in the table’s column. My invoices for instance, are the actual Open Office document. You can create up to 16 different columns with info like phone numbers, dates, ratings, or check boxes.
Probably my favorite ability of the blist app is using a blist with-in a blist. This allows you to create a database of your contacts, with all of there information, then use that blist as data, say in a blist called service records.
The product is totally free to use. It is built with Adobe Flash and, is still in beta. It’s a little slow(just a little, not bad actually) but, that could be my PC. It’s only 2Ghz with 1G RAM. Like I said “just a little slow, not bad”.
