Apple debuts new iMacs and Mac Minis
Apple announced updates to the iMac and Mac Mini models today.
The 24-inch iMac is priced lower and they all come with more memory and larger hard drives standard. The 24-inch models start at $1499 which was the former price point of a 20-inch model.
The new Mac minis feature powerful new intergraded graphics, a new Firewire 800 and 5 USB ports in place of the Firewire 400 port and 4 USB ports that were present on the old models. Apple claims that the Mac mini is the world’s most energy efficient desktop. It draws less than 13 watts of power when idle.
