We’re getting very close to the Apple iPhone 3G launch but I understand that it doesn’t float everyone’s boat. A popular alternative is the BlackBerry Curve 8310 Smartphone and I’ve just noticed they are now available in Titanium or Red on Amazon’s Penny Phones page, where you can get top selling cell phones for just one cent with a new service plan. You can even use free super saver shipping.
The Curve 8310 has a full QWERTY keyboard and is still super light, weighing only 3.9 ounces. Its battery is rated for up to 4 hours of talk time or 17 days of standby time. The easy to read 2.5 inch color screen is 320×240 pixels and has a light-sensing feature that automatically adjust to the ambient light. There is a 2-megapixel camera on a back with a 5x zoom, built-in flash, and full screen viewfinder. You can also find where you are with the Internal GPS receiver. The Curve’s support for the Bluetooth stereo audio profile (A2DP/AVRCP) allows you to talk with a handsfree bluetooth headset or use a bluetooth stereo headset to listen to music.
Pricing, rebates, free super saver shipping, and other promotions maybe subject to availability and restrictions.

I think the BlackBerry Curve, all BlackBerry products at that, are great…however, I want me some iPhone. Apple just has the best and most creative stuff out there. I also love how everything syncs perfectly to your Mac–it’s supposed to go together. Plus, that App store looks really hot.
