Ever since my wife learned about Desktop Tower Defense (after she caught her boss playing midday at work), she has been playing the damn game non-stop.

Desktop Tower Defense is a free Flash game that requires you to lay out towers and attack creeps that you must stop from reaching the other side of the board or you lose lives.

My wife consistently gets up to around the levels in the 80s and 90s but has not been able to advance past that. She’s completely addicted to it and keeps trying new strategies in order to advance further. Its difficultly is what makes it so much fun and addictive.

Don’t play Desktop Tower Defense if you can’t afford to lose all your productivity and free time. Otherwise you’ll be sucked in and want to play it every free moment you have.
