The Secret Service has announced the bust of major international identity theft rings.

They reportedly discovered more than 28,000 credit and bank card numbers on electronic media that was associated with a French Citizen that was arrested by the French National Police. The FNP also recovered multiple computers, external hard drives, and weapons. It is alleged that he is responsible for more than $14 million in fraud losses.

Another operation led to arrests in France and Canada of individuals who together, the Secret Service claims, were responsible for more than $1 million in fraud and losses.

The individuals allegedly manufactured and sold card skimmers that could collect and store credit card numbers and information.
