Run Dashboard Widgets On Your Desktop Full Time

I had no idea that it was possible to run Mac OS X Dashboard and Dashboard widgets on my Mac’s desktop all the time but you can!
You’ll have to open up Terminal and enter, “defaults write com.apple.dashboard devmode YES” (without the quotes.) Then logout and back in and you should be able to drag a widget from your Dashboard to your desktop by holding down the F12 key.
Don’t place too many on your desktop because each does use memory and too many can affect system performance.
