Watch Out For ATMs With Skimmer Attachments

Has your bank account ever had ATM withdrawals that you didn’t make? If so you could have been a victim of skimming.
Clever thieves are making magnetic readers that fit over the card slot on ATMs to capture the card’s number and magnetic data as the card is inserted into the machine. They also install a small video camera that might disguised as a security camera but it is used to record your pin number. Take a look at this example video:
Before using an ATM machine you should carefully look at to make sure there is nothing attached to it that might have been added by skimmers. For example, real security cameras will be pointed at your face, not the keypad.
