There's another alternative: Holosync........from Centerpointe.com
I use it everyday to get extra sleep and benefits. Uses Binaural Beats to put the Brain into Alpha, Gamma, etc 30 min to one hour. These are deeper meditative states and I find them very relaxing, too. Maybe a little pricey, but much less than what the TMS will probably cost.(I've been doing this program for over a year and really find it worth while.)

My wife is constantly pleading with me to get more sleep, but the evening is the primary time for me to work on freelance projects and websites. It's when I get the most writing work done.

But, with one of these I could work until 3am, power-sleep, and actually get to the office early - and awake!

Hopefully the technology won't cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and cause horrible diseases :)

All well and good if you're mentally exhausted, but what about physical tiredness???

The cells and other wet 'n' soggy bits still need the full sleep-time to rejuvenate/regenerate back.

Saying that though, Yes, I would like one when possible :-)))

Hmm sounds great in principal but what if inducing currents in your brain using TMS has an as yet undiscovered adverse effects? No substitute for natural sleep in my opinion. Having said that, it would be handy for putting the wife on 'standby' ;-)

Absolutely amazing! This would be great for parents of disabled children (like my wife and I). Trust me, there are many nights that caregivers don't get much sleep.

Get a Free Audio Book

Are you tired of reading books? Me too. Over the years, I developed pulpuslaceratapohobia - and the only known cure for that is Audible. Finally, a way to digest words without actually having to read them. Professional voices are wonderful choices if you love literary works in audio format. Are you ready to read some audio books? Maybe you should just listen to them instead.

VMware and Parallels for Virtual Machines

It doesn't matter if you're running on Windows or Mac OS X - every power user needs either Parallels or VMware (or both). There's never been an easier way to test software without destroying your primary operating system's stability. Think of how many times you wish you could press a 'reverse' button on your computer. Plus, there's no easier way to try new Linux distributions - see what all the fuss is about. Run Windows in OS X, run Linux in Windows, but the best way to do either is with VMware and/or Parallels.
