Are you confused by RSS? Those little orange icons, that look like this
or just say XML or RSS? You might have clicked on one once and saw a lot of confusing code? Forget about that experience. RSS is the best way to follow web sites and this video will explain what RSS is about and why you should be using it.
Don’t worry, it’s really simple.
There are two types of Internet users, those that use RSS and those that don’t. This video is for the people who could save time using RSS, but don’t know where to start.
The video recommends Google Reader and that’s what I use. I highly recommend it and it’s completely free. I’d just skip bloglines and newsgator altogether.

Why skip Bloglines ? It works very fine for me. Using Google for search and for email is enough already. For an online RSS reader, Bloglines is a perfect alternative.
