Ben Adler, of NPR, tries to answer the controversial question, are prewashed greens safe to eat? Prewashed greens include lettuce and spinach bags that you might find in your local supermarket.
After 200+ people were infected with E. coli, which also resulted in three deaths, the question still remains unanswered if bagged greens are safe to eat.
Similar prewashed-washed mixed greens are also served in many restaurants. Do you think the danger is over?

One wonders how we made it so long without this. I think that perhaps our lifestyle change has removed some of the protections our body used to have. Much like the peanut allergies that no one ever heard of before. Struggle does lead to toughness.
On the other hand, one should ask why e coli are getting into the food chain…

I really like this. One does wonder why e coli is getting more and more out there in our greens.
