Apple just released iTunes 7.1 and QuickTime 7.1.5 via Software Update for both Macintosh and Windows.

The iTunes update includes support for AppleTV, better sorting options, a new full-screen version of Cover Flow, and some fixes for Windows Vista. The QuickTime update includes security fixes and numerous bug fixes.

To access the new sorting options, control-click or right-click items in your library and choose “Apply Sort Field.” You can choose from Same Album, Same Artist, Same Album Artist, Same Composer or Same Show.

An Important Warning to QuickTime Pro Users:
If you own a QuickTime 5 or QuickTime 6 Pro Key you’ll need to purchase a new QuickTime Pro key to retain Pro functionality.
