Report: MyBlogLog tracking AdSense & YPN ad clicks on your site

Lots of blogs are displaying MyBlogLog widgets and include the MyBlogLog tracking javascript code on their sites, including mine. However, it has just been discovered that MyBlogLog has the ability to track ad views and clicks.
I’m not too sure how I feel about this. At times I get really sick of the headaches MyBlogLog causes, such as slower page loads, and various types of spam it brings. I’ve already removed their widget from my blog once already, but then added it back after a friend said he liked seeing who else is reading it and what they’re reading.
After this discovery and reading some comments about how MyBlogLog’s Privacy Policy addresses this I’m leaning toward removing it again from my blog and also WyldRyde.org. Maybe I’ll sleep on it.
What do you think?
Update: I’ve decided to remove it for good after reading Duncan Riley’s analysis.
