If you registered your domain name with RegisterFly I would immediately start trying to transfer your domain to another domain name registrar. If for any reason the transfer is unsuccessful, I’d get another domain name from another registrar very soon, and if your domain is close to expiring you might want to setup a 301 redirect to your new domain immediately!
“Embattled domain registrar RegisterFly will lose its accreditation if it can’t fix serious operational problems in the next 15 days, “reports Netcraft. “The registrar’s operations have descended into chaos this week, with its web site paralyzed amid allegations that the former president and CEO misused company funds.”
If you transfer or buy another domain, keep in mind, that it is never a good idea to register a domain with the same company that provides your web hosting. If you should ever have a problem with them and try to switch, many people have had their domains held hostage, or worse, for ransom.
