Microsoft has released their Security Patches for February. Six are critical, Six are important.
- MS07-008 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows (KB928843) - Critical
- MS07-009 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows (KB927779) - Critical
- MS07-010 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Malware Protection Engine, affecting Windows Live OneCare, Windows Defender and other antivirus clients (KB932135) - Critical
- MS07-014 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Word (KB929434) - Critical
- MS07-015 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Office (KB932554) - Critical
- MS07-016 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Internet Explorer (KB928090) - Critical
- MS07-005 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows Interactive Training (KB923723) - Important
- MS07-006 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows (KB928255) - Important
- MS07-007 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows (KB927802) - Important
- MS07-011 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows (KB926436) - Important
- MS07-012 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows, and Visual Studio (KB924667) - Important
- MS07-013 - addresses a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows, and Office (KB918118) - Important
Windows and Office users should immediately run Microsoft Update as there are several more additional updates. These updates will require a reboot.
