As a desktop Linux enthusiast, I have found most apps to be hit or miss. Most of my office needs are simply addressed by Open Office by default, but it’s helpful to have some other options as well. The link in the previous sentence, provides you with some cool options for dealing with PDF files, scanning, labels and other things one might need around the small office.
My list is a bit shorter, but some apps I cannot live without include OpenOffice, gscan2pdf and GIMP. Those three options alone, do just about everything I need from scanner/PDF management to image work.
Cannot speak to label software or other niceties as it’s not something that relates to my daily routine. But for the most part, my needs are handled using the apps above. And anything missing from a CRM standpoint, is likely available in a web based solution anyway.
